Since 2007 I teach at the School of Music in Lunel, FR.

I teach guitar (classical and non classical) to kids and adults. 

I teach bass guitar.

I also conduct full ensembles. Jazz combos and various music ensembles, on a weekly basis and during workshops and masterclasses.

 

​I play the bass, the drums and piano and sing.

Because I studied, I play and listen to music in most of its different forms, from classical to jazz, blues, rock... my teaching covers

a wide range of styles and instruments. 

 

Jazz styles such as swing, bebop, cool, bossa-nova, fusion, blues, latin and also rock.

 

I teach harmony and all the necessary elements of music such as rhythm, forms, scales, chords and chords voicing for pianists and guitarists, etc...

 

I teach and encourage students to improvise, freely and within a frame,

so they are welcome to play without sheet music, memorize

and listen more. 

 

Students become active and take part in the process of playing in a group,

listenning and responding to others, improvising, composing, and

making music their own. 

 

Concerts and auditions are regularly held so students can play on

stage as soon as possible. Also, due to the instrument itself, soft spoken,

beginners guitarists will play together so that they won't feel alone...

and enjoy the thrill of playing in a group and in front of an audience.

 

I use the Soundpainting technique during my ensemble classes too.
